DR MATHEW LEE
Mr Mathew Lee is a fully qualified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, trained in Melbourne. After completing his fellowship through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, he pursued further training in rhinoplasty and breast surgery for both cosmetic and reconstructive purposes overseas in Europe and North America.
Dr Nishant Balakrishnan
Dr Nish completed his Medical degree at Melbourne University in 2008, following which he trained at the Austin and Northern Hospitals. He gained significant experience in managing patients with skin cancers during this time.
Melanie joined the team at Canvas Plastic Surgery in early 2017 and is our Practice Manager. She is in charge of ensuring all patients receive the highest level of care every time they step into the practice.
Danielle has been with Canvas Plastic Surgery since its inception in 2012 and has been integral to the development and success of the practice. She has more than 10 year of experience in looking after patients and their medical journeys and is the person patients most look forward to speaking to on the phone.
Lauren has been working at Canvas Plastic Surgery for almost three years and will be one of the people to greet you when you come in for your appointment. For Lauren, this practice is very different to other medical clinics as it feels more like a home or a family not a cold sterile medical clinic.
DR NEELA JANAKIRAMANAN
Ms Neela Janakiramanan is a Melbourne trained Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with specific interest and training in hand and wrist surgery. Following completion of her fellowship in Plastic Surgery in 2014, Neela undertook a number of fellowships to further compliment her training.
Pru is a registered nurse with over 21 years of nursing experience in hospital theatres, wards and clinics around Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Nursing and a Graduate Diploma of Nursing (peri-operative).
Sarah commenced as Practice Nurse for Canvas Plastic Surgery in 2018. She has a background of working in the healthcare industry for over ten years and has worked on both surgical wards and in theatre. In 2014, Sarah dedicated herself to the specialty of Plastic Surgery and has been focused on this field of nursing since.
Emma has been a member of the nursing team at Canvas Plastic Surgery for nearly a year now and fitted into the culture of exceptional level patient care perfectly. She is a registered nurse with more than 6 years experience in looking after patients both in hospital and in the clinic setting.
Sue is a Registered Nurse with 23 years of experience covering a broad range of nursing disciplines from the operating theatre to the clinic setting. She has a Bachelor of Nursing, a Graduate Diploma in Peri-operative Nursing and a Certificate in Advanced Healthcare, specialising in surgical assisting. Sue has been part of Canvas Plastic Surgery for over 3 years.
